Ararat Rural City Council Recognises Vital Role of Community Asset Committees

Ararat Rural City Council oversees the management of numerous community facilities throughout the municipality, including sporting grounds, recreation reserves, community centres and halls. To effectively manage these facilities, we collaborate with our Community Asset Committees (CACs), who assume direct responsibility for overseeing specific community properties and facilities on behalf of the Council in accordance with the Local Government Act 2020.Our CACs are made up of local volunteers who are entrusted with the functions, duties, and powers necessary for the operation of their respective community facilities.
