Formerly known as Victorian Youth Week, this year’s Festival has been revamped into a month-long celebration of youth-focused and youth-led activities. The Festival is targeted at individuals aged 12 to 25 years.

The month-long Festival is supported by a host of partners, including the Greater Shepparton Youth Organisations Network, GV Libraries, Freeza, the State Government and various Council Departments.

Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Cr Shane Sali, highlighted the Festival's role in supporting young people in our region and encouraged the community to get involved and take advantage of the exciting events still to come.

“Greater Shepparton Youth Fest 2024 is a great opportunity to engage young people in a variety of events and activities. We are proud to support Youth Fest, which promotes social connectedness and supports the physical, mental health and wellbeing of young people. With many more activities still to come, we encourage everyone to join in the celebrations,”  Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Cr Shane Sali

Among the upcoming highlights is a Council-led event on Sunday 29 September 2024 at the Shepparton Skate Park. This event will feature a BMX, skate, and scoot competition, as well as a First Nations art workshop where participants can paint skateboard decks and express their creativity.
