Benalla Rural City Council is excited to announce the launch of the Council Plan 2025 – 2029 Community Survey, inviting all residents to share their thoughts and help shape the future of Benalla Rural City. The survey is now open and will remain accessible until Tuesday 9 March 2025.
This initiative is a vital step in understanding the needs, priorities, and aspirations of our community to develop the Council Plan 2025-2029. Whether you’ve lived in Benalla Rural City your whole life or have just recently joined our community, your voice matters. This survey provides an opportunity to contribute ideas and opinions on key issues that affect our town’s development, services, and overall well-being.
Mayor Cr Bernie Hearn, highlighted the importance of community input in shaping the region's future, urging everyone to have their say.
“We strongly encourage all residents, young and old, to participate in the survey. It’s a chance to ensure your views are heard and represented in shaping the decisions that will guide the future of Benalla Rural City through the delivery of the Council Plan 2025-2029,” said Cr Hearn.
“By sharing your insights and ideas, you’re helping us understand what truly matters to our community. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact on Benalla’s future.
“We want to hear from everyone—families, young people, business owners, and retirees alike. Your feedback will ensure we create a Council Plan that reflects the values and priorities of our entire community,” Cr Hearn added.
The survey is available online through the Benalla Rural City Council website and will be promoted via advertisements, and social media platforms to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate.
