Nominations open to recognise exceptional Macedon Ranges businesses

Council, in partnership with Telstra, is excited to launch the Telstra Macedon Ranges Community Choice Awards 2025: a celebration of local businesses that go above and beyond in delivering outstanding customer service.

Following the huge success of the 2023 Community Choice Awards, where 78 businesses were nominated by the community, these biennial awards are returning to recognise excellence across five key categories:

The awards offer a perfect opportunity for locals to show their appreciation for businesses that make a difference in their everyday lives - whether it’s a café that serves your morning coffee with a smile, a skilled tradesperson who goes the extra mile, or a health provider delivering exceptional care.

The Community Choice Awards are more than just a title - they’re a way to highlight the incredible work of businesses that contribute to the strength and vibrancy of the Macedon Ranges community. By acknowledging customer service excellence, the awards help boost business confidence and encourage even greater service standards.

Mayor Dom Bonanno said the awards were an important outlet for the community to support and recognise local businesses.

"We have so many outstanding businesses in our region that provide excellent service and go the extra mile for their customers,” he said.

“The Community Choice Awards give residents the chance to say thank you and celebrate their contributions."

Nominations for the Telstra Macedon Ranges Community Choice Awards 2025 are now open and close on Monday 24 March 2025. The public will then have the chance to vote for their favourite businesses from April 2025.
