WYNnovation 2025

WYNnovation, Wyndham City’s award-winning annual festival of entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity is back, with an exciting program of events.  

Local businesses, business leaders, and innovators are invited to think big, learn, expand their networks and be part of shaping Wyndham's future agenda with an exciting new program centred around Making the Future Happen Now.

Wyndham City Mayor, Cr Mia Shaw, said: “We're very proud to launch Wyndham City's annual WYNnovation business festival, with another terrific program of events tailored to inspire and energise local businesses.”

“Now in its eighth year, WYNnovation offers businesses a creative way to think big, connect, learn, discover and network with other businesses and collaborate with some of Australia’s most successful entrepreneurs, innovators and diverse minds right here in Wyndham.”

“New for 2025 is an independent program of satellite events hosted by local businesses, offering unique opportunities for networking and learning including free business development workshops for agriculture and food startups, and industry mentorship of future leaders across various locations in Wyndham.

WYNnovation’s signature event – the Summit – on Thursday 15 May, features an incredible speaker line-up including one of Australia’s most successful entrepreneurs, Chief Visionary of Thank You, CEO Daniel Flynn, futurist Simon Waller, change maker Winitha Bonney OAM, Nornie Bero, founder of Mabu Mabu, and local businesses and their success stories. 

The Pitch Competition is bigger and better this year, with applications open until 2 April 2025 – ‘How might business utilise technology to create a smarter, more sustainable and liveable Wyndham?'

Business and start-ups can submit their innovative ideas and solutions in cleantech, agritech, healthtech, mobility and safety to participate and the best of them will pitch at the grand finale on 6 May at Wyn Tech School for a share in a prize pool of more than $32,000 including cash prizes, pitch training and mentoring, residency at Wyndham’s SPARK Business & Innovation Hub and Dell Technologies products.
