Upgrade Works Commence on Churchill Avenue
Upgrade Works Commence on Churchill Avenue Kerb and channel upgrade works to Churchill Avenue and Webb Street in the Ararat township are underway, with preliminary excavation activity breaking ground earlier this month.The $1.5m reconstruction project is supported by the Federal Government’s Roads to Recovery Program and will improve the safety and accessibility of the municipality’s road network, also improving economic and social outcomes.As part of the initial excavation works on Churchill Avenue, a demolition contractor has removed decommissioned services from under the roadway, to enable the safe lowering of gas and water service lines over the coming month.
