Community Climate Action Roadmap survey now open

The objective of the roadmap is to inform the future development of a Community Climate Action Plan, which will support the community to reduce its emissions and adapt to a changing climate.  Everyone in the Alpine Shire has a role to play in reducing carbon emissions and helping to ensure the local community can adapt to the impacts of a changing climate.   Sharing your thoughts through this survey will help to:  Identify climate action opportunity areas and community priorities  Identify challenges and opportunities for community action  Come down and chat all things Community Climate Action at a pop up near you!  Saturday 20 May | Bright's Make it Bake it Grow it Market | 9am – 1pm  Saturday 20 May | Tawonga South (outside Mount Beauty Auto Repairs) | 10am – 12pm   Saturday, 27 May | Myrtleford Farmers Market | 8.30am – 12.30pm  If you can’t attend one of our pop ups, you can take the survey by visiting: www.surveymonkey.com/r/8L3ZMBG    The survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete.  To read more about the Climate Emergency declaration and our corporate Climate Action Plan, visit: www.alpineshire.vic.gov.au/community/corporate-sustainability   This project is jointly funded by the Victorian and Commonwealth Government's under the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
