Howitt Park closure extended

Howitt Park closure extended

We are working diligently to determine whether the park can be safely brought back to a renewed standard.   This process includes obtaining quotations, which we expect to receive within the next fortnight.  Once we have a clearer understanding of the costs involved, a decision will be made on whether to invest in extending the life of the current equipment or to remove and replace it.   Unfortunately, if we proceed with the latter option, there may be a delay, and new play equipment might not be ready in time for the summer holidays.  We understand this news may be disappointing, especially given the current situation at Cundy Park, and we appreciate your patience as we work to ensure the safety and quality of our community spaces.
