Improving pedestrian and cyclist connectivity in Yarragon and Traf

Improving pedestrian and cyclist connectivity in Yarragon and Traf Published on 09 October 2023 A study has been launched to enhance safety and connectivity for cyclists and pedestrians in Yarragon and Trafalgar, with community members invited to get involved.   Funded by a grant from the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), the Yarragon and Trafalgar Pedestrian and Cycling Safety Study will help Baw Baw Shire Council gain a better understanding of how the community uses existing paths and trails, and where opportunities for improvement may exist.   In developing the Study, Council is asking community members to share their experiences of using the footpaths and walking and cycling tracks throughout the two townships.  “Community consultation is the most important stage of this study,” says Mayor of Baw Baw Shire Cr Annemarie McCabe.
