Makeshift diving platform removed from creek area
Makeshift diving platform removed from creek area Published on 11 December 2020 Council, with support from local police, has removed a makeshift and unsafe creekside diving platform near Dixon Field following resident complaints. Council and police received complaints about the structure and upon investigation found a platform constructed by cut-down trees in an area strewn with rubbish in a densely vegetated area by Jackson’s Creek. Council officers found discarded alcohol containers and evidence of firepits constructed close to vegetation.
