Broome onboard with e-waste recycling Released 22 January 2019 The first container load of e-waste has been removed from Broome’s Waste Management Facility and sent to Perth to be recycled and reused.  The Shire of Broome introduced free domestic e-waste recycling in June 2018 as a proactive measure to improve recycling and reduce problem waste going into landfill.
