Until 19 December, you can visit the Wanneroo Regional Museum to make or drop-off a Christmas card for a local senior this festive season.

Back by popular demand, this program endeavours to bring holiday cheer to local seniors who might otherwise not receive a card this Christmas.

Mayor Linda Aitken said she was thrilled to see the program return after the City delivered almost 500 Christmas cards to local seniors last year.

“Writing a handwritten message is a small gesture that can go a long way in making the holidays brighter for those who may feel a little more isolated this season,” she said.

"It’s a simple way to spread some holiday cheer and make people feel connected.

“If you have the opportunity to head to our museum, I encourage all community members to get involved.”

Cards can be made at or dropped off at Wanneroo Regional Museum until 4pm Thursday 19 December to ensure they can be delivered in time for Christmas.
