South Beach change facilities update

Over the coming weeks, beachgoers may notice increased activity at the South Beach change rooms construction site as works restart following the Christmas break.

As with all major projects, issues can arise that require attention and rectification. In this case, the building contractor will be working to fix a problem with the concrete slab. This will involve removing and replacing the original material.

The construction timeline will be adjusted to accommodate these works, but completion of the change facility is still anticipated in the first half of 2025, this work will not lead to additional project costs for the City.
