The Shire of Coolgardie’s fortnightly Seniors Staying Connected group session was a huge success today Thursday 27 March 2025, bringing fun, fitness, and valuable information to local seniors. Held at the community centre, the session featured a lively Parability Dance Fit class led by Andrea from Pure Gold Bootscooters, followed by an informative presentation on home care packages from Prajwal and Narelle from Right at Home.
Seniors were all smiles as they joined Andrea in a high-energy Dance Fit class that got everyone moving, grooving, and laughing. The class was designed to be fun and engaging, offering a chance for seniors to stay active while enjoying music and socializing with others in the group. The upbeat atmosphere left everyone feeling invigorated and looking forward to the next session.
After the physical activity, attendees were treated to a Morning Tea and an insightful information session from Prajwal and Narelle, who are representatives from Right at Home. They shared valuable information about home care packages and how these services can support seniors in remaining in their homes longer, ensuring they maintain their independence and quality of life. The session was well-received, with seniors taking the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the services available to them.
The Seniors Staying Connected program is an ongoing initiative aimed at enhancing the well-being of seniors in the community by providing opportunities for social interaction, physical activity, and access to helpful resources. Each session brings something new and exciting, encouraging seniors to live their lives to the fullest. Keep an eye out on our website for future Senior Staying Connected events.
