Date07 December 2022 Home to a growing community of approximately 140,000 people, the City of Rockingham is experiencing significant change and it is estimated that about 200,000 people will call Rockingham home by 2036.It is vital the voice of the community is heard to help shape the future direction of the City, which is why the City has begun a major review of its Strategic Community Plan (SCP).The SCP guides the City’s operations over a 10-year period and a major review of this plan is carried out every four years to confirm it is continuing to deliver the aspirations of the community.The City will be engaging widely with residents over the coming months to ensure a diverse range of community members can share their views on what the new SCP should look like.
