Date13 December 2024 The City of Rockingham is delighted to have received almost $1.4 million under the federal government’s Thriving Suburbs Program towards the relocation of Lotteries House and the development of a new Community Hub.The Rockingham Lotteries House and Community Hub Development will involve the relocation of Rockingham Lotteries House from Civic Boulevard to 10 Council Avenue, Rockingham, as well as the redevelopment of the second building on the same site into a Community Hub.Mayor Deb Hamblin said the City was very grateful for the $1,397,975 contribution towards the project through the Thriving Suburbs Program, which when completed, would provide affordable accommodation for not-for-profit community groups, right in the centre of Rockingham.“The chosen location is central and easily-accessible for our community.
