Date17 May 2024 A tech savvy senior, a lifeguard and a local environmentalist were among the local volunteers recognised for their valuable contribution to the community at the City of Rockingham’s 2024 Volunteer Recognition Evening.The event was held on Wednesday 15 May at the Gary Holland Community Centre in the lead up to National Volunteer Week (20-26 May).The City of Rockingham shone a spotlight on 25 outstanding volunteers who had been nominated for recognition by their various local non-for-profit clubs and organisations.
